Any better iPad 2 cases than the "smart" cover?

I just got a new iPad 2. I really like the iPad 2, but really dislike the "smart" cover, and I'm sorry I got that.

It's definitely connected correctly, but has already fallen off half a dozen times on the very first day.
Neither the small tilt for typing nor the tall angle for viewing positions are particularly stable, and they are hard to set.
It doesn't handle well when open and using.

I just don't feel confident or "protected" using it.

I liked my old iPad 1 Apple black case. It was very functional. Anybody know of something similar for the iPad 2 with appropriate cutouts?

I can't believe this idea made it off the drawing boards.

Anyway, any suggestions for something similar to the iPad 1 Apple black case would be appreciated.

I bought the smart cover for my iPad 2, also, and while there's some things I do like about it, like the sleep-wake functionality, overall, I think it's way overrated.

That being said, I went ahead and got this cover made by STM Skinny. It offers full-body protection. I'm very happy with it, and the price was right!

I never had the old iPad Apple case, so I can't really suggest anything similar.

I'll check it out. Thanks. The sleep-wake function seemed very minor to me. Considering that, I'm not sure why I got it at all. :)

My mother says she likes hers.

I bought smart cover and ZAGG invisible shield. Thats pretty much it. I like it minimum.
