Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get my iphone contacts to be formatted properly for US contacts, however it seems that all of my contacts are automatically entered in the Japanese format even though my settings are for the US. Where would the iphone be getting these settings from?

Also, after I sync my Macintosh with my iphone, the contacts aren't really synchronized. Address appear in the proper format on my Mac, but not on the iphone. I can change this by manually changing the country in each address. When I say "change" the country, I mean it does say US, but I have to reselect US and then it displays properly.

Also related to this issue is an iMessage issue. I cannot initiate an iMessage chat with people in Japan. I notice that I have to put a "+81" in front of their number to be able to do this. But, I shouldn't have to as it used to work before.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out...
