My reason to join

Was involved heavily in the market there, writing a book about imode, working for a (failed) mobile software company, and then for a famous UK carrier's (failed) attempt to run a mobile phone company in Japan. I have been doing a bit of work lately on mobile sites for Japan, and I am glad to see there may be a viable alternative to keitai-l, which was a fantastic forum.
