I think it's worth it. For me, a bump in capacity was reason enough to upgrade; besides that, there's Siri (which I use all the time to set reminders and stuff) and the greatly improved camera. Good stuff.

Yes, I would say it really is worth it! But I am a hardcore Apple but so I am somewhat biased!

Just got a e-mail from the shop telling me that my phone is ready and to pick it up by Nov 2nd.

mavis said… - Hey guys. Yeah, I sold my 3G already - I listed it for 50,000Y in the Gaijinpot classifieds, and got LOTS of inquiries. I had a buyer lined up within three hours of the ad going live. Of course, YMMV, but don't sell yourself short - mine went for 50,000Y without any haggling at all and I probably could've gotten more. Good luck!

I was following the thread about selling a 3g to get a 3gs, and it seemed like you already managed to sell yours. I am actually thinking about doing the same (I hate how slow my 3g is, even for basic operations like switching to japanese keyboard). I just got my 3g 16gb black replaced today at the apple store for a crack on the back. So would you mind sharing with me details about how you sold your iphone here in Japan?
